Following 40 years of growing grapes the Carpintero family decided it was time to turn their amazing fruit into their own wines. In 2001 they began experimenting and a few years later they were convinced that they had the right quality fruit to make the wines they wanted to make. The winery they built, in the heart of La Mancha, is one of the most beautiful and technologically advanced wineries in the region. No expense has been spared to ensure máximum quality, their very clear goal.
They winery focuses on a striking range of monovarietal wines. Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Viognier and Chardonany are the main varietals, all with 6 or 15 months in oak and packaged in heavy bottles and stand out packaging. The Cabernet, Merlot, Viognier and Chardonnay were brought from Bordeaux or Burgundy, the Malbec from Argentina and the Syrah from the Rhone. Tempranillo is of course local. This winery shows the amazing quality and diversity that La Mancha can produce and offers wines that no one else does.
This project started more than three decades ago when the first vines
were planted. Ever since then, we have been dreaming of the idea to
create unique wines which transmit all the potential and personality
of this unique environment. Climate is typically continental with a
Mediterranean influence: hot, dry summers and cold winters.
Despite these harsh conditions, we manage to get the perfect varietal
expression by obtaining an optimal grape maturity.
