Pazo do Xan
The pazo is a type of traditional Galician manor house of noble character, normally located in the countryside, once the residence of important people of the community (before, of kings or nobles).
These people were of crucial importance in the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries, as they were the owners of the most extensive vineyard plantations in the area. These pazos were, at the time, an important part of the evolution of the wine sector in Ribeiro.
