New division of Spanish Palate created to bridge a gap between brave, creative, experimental and exceptional wine producers and wine lovers who are looking for something different. Often one barrel batches of incredible wines that otherwise wouldn't reach the market. Through Secret Cellar we aim to provide an outlet for these wines and encourage winemakers across Spain to continue pushing boundaries. These wines have to shared with the world.

We at Secret Cellar are here to open the door to the underground. Just beneath the surface of this beautiful country lie wines in waiting.  Unique blends or rare local varieties waiting to be shown the way to a table.



“By giving light to these small production, often experimental wines we hope to feed the passion of the grape growers and wine makers express the variety and versatility of the land, whilst sharing the fruits of their labour with those who are in on 'the secret'.

 

As professionals or enthusiasts, somms or just unapologetic wine geeks, we recognise the value in sharing knowledge and experience. Going down that rabbit hole and discovering not just the sweet nectar in the bottle but the history in the vineyard, experience in the hands of the grower and magic in the mind of the winemaker.”


Every wine  is of very limited production, often less than 1000 bottles, and is made with the very same level of care and attention that all of us take when tasting it.
