Appearance: Intense cherry red.
Nose: Very marked with aromas and a good balance of fruit and wood, where vanilla tones are mixed with well ripened fruit, blackberries and wild fruits. Very light touches of leather and liquorice resulting from the mixture of French oak wood and the inherent aromas of this grape variety.
Palate: Smooth texture, but fills the palate with balanced flavors, including fine tannins, which help prolong the life of the wine. Long, elegant finish and aftertaste.
Food Pairing: Excellent combination with cold meats, pasta dishes and spicy stews. Particularly perfect with stews, grills, roast suckling lamb, roast suckling pig, red meat stews and delicate poultry.
